BE THERE

YOU CAN'T GO IF YOU DON'T SHOW

If you’re not in class, you can’t make the grade. If you don’t make the grade, you don’t graduate, and you won’t be good to go to college or a career.

Being G2G means attending high school at least 92 percent of the time.

Did you know?

  • Your ninth-grade attendance record can be used to predict whether you graduate from high school or end up dropping out.
  • Attendance is even more important than test scores in determining how well you’ll do.
  • Being five minutes late to class each morning adds up to 900 minutes over the course of an academic year. That’s 15 hours, more than a half a week of school.

If you’re struggling to get to school by the morning’s first bell, talk to your guidance counselor or another adult you trust about managing your time.
